Psychosemitic is a not-for-profit organisation that facilitates transformative interaction between Muslim, Jewish and Middle Eastern individuals and communities in the UK.

We do this through three main spheres of activity:

Cultural Events - We bring people together to enjoy innovative music, film, poetry, storytelling, painting and movement influenced by Muslim, Jewish and Middle Eastern cultural traditions. In doing so, we enhance understanding and appreciation of our own and others' traditions.

Education - We provide programmes and facilitators for schools, youth-clubs, community centres, mosques and synagogues, which utilise creative educational tools to deal with issues such as ethnic identity, substance misuse, religious values, texts and rituals, family relations and bullying. These programmes range from
single workshops to long-term projects which culminate in the production of a performance/recording/play/film etc.

Social Action - We work in partnership with schools, synagogues, mosques and other local bodies to facilitate collaborative social action between Muslim, Jewish and Middle Eastern communities. These projects generally focus on helping the wider community as well as our ‘home’ communities.
